On Thursday 5 December 2019, the seventh annual MindTech symposium took place at the Royal College of Physicians. This exciting and innovative event brought together leaders in clinical practice, patient experience, academic research, industry and technology development to address the key challenges in building a stronger evidence-base to support implementation of new technologies in mental healthcare. 

The symposium also brought in a wider audience, on social media, with #MindTech2019 being the number one trending hashtag on Twitter, in the UK, for most of the day and the well-respected mental health blogger and social media influencer, the Mental Elf, covering the event. 373 people from 18 countries sent more than 1,700 tweets about the event, demonstrating tangible engagement with this year's focus of New Frontiers for Digital Mental Health: Implementation & Impact.
