Graduation cap

Dr Blandine French, Dr Camilla Babbage and Dr Kareem Khan have all graduated this week, following the successful completion of their PhDs.

All three were supervised by colleagues in the Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL) and we’re delighted to welcome them to MindTech.

During their studies, they made a significant contribution to the understanding of mental health research, particularly in conditions affecting young people.

Blandine developed an intervention to support ADHD referrals in primary care, which has since been adopted by the Royal College of General Practitioners as part of their online training materials.

Following her PhD research into tics and Tourette’s Syndrome, Camilla has joined the NIHR MindTech team and is already working on an exciting new project called SPARX.

Kareen worked on the ORBIT study, researching online interventions for young people with tics, a group who often have limited access to specialist services.

Congratulations to you all and good luck in your research careers!
