Forum for Mental Health Technology Innovators: Developing new partnerships with the NHS and UK research groups March event

The UK Mental Health Mission is a partnership of universities, healthcare trusts, regulators, and evaluation bodies aiming to accelerate the development of new interventions to diagnose, monitor and treat mental ill-health.

This involves understanding and overcoming barriers to uptake of innovation into routine NHS care. Digital devices, medtech and data-driven technology are key focal points where the Mental Health Mission seeks to spearhead changes in the environment and support innovators to move their products toward implementation. 

Join us in Liverpool on 27th March 2025 for the new Forum for Innovators event, a unique gathering designed to connect innovators in the mental health technology sector with NHS innovation teams and expertise from:  

Opportunities at the event include: 

  • Hear about unmet needs for mental health in the NHS that could be addressed by technology 
  • Discuss challenges and opportunities in developing mental health technology in the current environment with other innovators in the space 
  • Meet academics and researchers from universities and NHS organisations affiliated with the Mental Health Mission and discuss potential partnerships for new grant applications or collaborative projects 
  • Explore demonstrations, try out extended reality and other mental health tech under development and meet Health Innovation Network staff who support the development pathway 
  • Discuss changes needed in regulation, evaluation and infrastructure to accelerate change in the sector

The event will be held on the 27th March 2025 in central Liverpool, 10:30am to 4:30pm.
