Colleagues from MindTech and the Institute of Mental Health have raised concerns about a new international quality standard for health and wellness apps, recently published by the  International Organisation for Standardisation.

Alongside a panel of experts, Dr Michael Craven and Professor Tom Dening have published their comments and recommendations in the Lancet this week, arguing that, β€œin its current form, the standard could stigmatise some app users and worsen inequalities in access to digital health technologies.”
