Blandine’s main research interest is on neurodevelopmental disorders, most specifically ADHD and Dyspraxia. Blandine completed her undergraduate training in child psychology in Reading.

She went on to work in clinical and research environments primarily with parents, children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders, completing her PhD in Applied Psychology at the University of Nottingham. Her PhD project investigated the awareness and understanding of ADHD in primary care. She specifically looked into how well GPs understand ADHD and its care pathway. She developed and evaluated an online educational tool coproduced with GPs to increase their awareness of ADHD.

Blandine’s current work involves evaluating the use of a parenting app for parents of children waiting for an ADHD diagnosis. She is also starting a three year project in 2023 looking into the economic costs of undiagnosed ADHD and /or Autism.

Blandine has worked with parents of children with ADHD and adult patients since 2014. She also received a diagnosis of ADHD as an adult which enabled her to go back to university to gain her degree.
