Priya is a Research Associate with MindTech currently working on SPARX (a serious game for young people experiencing mild to moderate depression) and CaTS-App (a tool to understand and support young people who self-harm).

Prior to working at MindTech, Priya worked for five years at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East Midlands, where she focused on projects exploring the use of novel digital interventions to improve the mental health and wellbeing of healthcare staff. One example of this is the GAINS study.

Priya has experience in:

• Successfully delivering randomised controlled trials and leading qualitative work
• National and international collaboration, including partnerships with industry
• Effectively building and sustaining relationships with multidisciplinary teams, in particular having received recognition for work with patient and public involvement representatives
• Disseminating findings through academic publications
• Reaching wider audiences, such as through features on the BBC Radio 4 All in the Mind podcast and in the Financial Times series on ‘solving the global crisis in mental health’
